RUEMZ Hotel was originally conceived sometime during May 2009 during a meeting with a group of ladies and gents from the Hospitality Industry. Many around the table wanted to do something new for the hospitality industry, looking at adding innovative ways that could possibly fit a hotel, to the extent of, possibly, providing future concept rooms that could be tested in real time! What a mouthful just to say that here! We had poured over this idea numerous times and the initial plan for the Hotel’s name was the alphabet U, but alas, there was another hotel brand with a similar name in South East Asia, so we opted to call our property – RUEMZ Hotel (pronounced ´rooms´). Though RUEMZ hotel happened as a spontaneous idea, we always envisioned RUEMZ hotel to be modern, vibrant and trendy in keeping with our youthful, energetic mindset.
